Build Your End of Year Action Plan in 3 Steps
You don’t need to do it all to see business momentum and success this fall and holiday season. Our advice is to pinpoint 1 priority goal that you would like to accomplish by 2025 and give it your full attention.
Note: You may have something exciting in the works for the holiday season - like a product collection, partnership or event. Make sure your holiday initiative will help you reach your #1 goal. If it seems like more of a distraction than something that will move your business forward, consider revisiting it.
Below we are sharing a 3-step end of year action plan builder to help you prioritize on crossing off to-dos that will move you towards your #1 goal.

Step #1 Commit to Your Goal
What is the most important goal you want to accomplish for your business by the end of this year?
How much time each week are you willing to dedicate to work on this?
Do you need to make any changes to your routine, work schedule, or how you manage your time to reach your goals?
Imagine it is December 31st, what does success look like for your holiday season and initiative? For example: Did you update your website? Launch a monthly newsletter? Grow your Instagram following? Reach your holiday sales goal? Launch a new collection or partnership? Land press coverage or get your product in the hands of influencers?
Step #2 Fill Out Your Top 2-3 Priorities for Each Month
Write out each month from September through December and outline 2-3 top priorities for each month that will move you towards your goal. Make note of key dates, including:
when you have launches or promotions planned
when you’re sending out newsletters or posting content series
important dates, including holidays and the presidential election, which we recommend avoiding as a date/week to announce anything important
Step #3 Break it Down Week by Week
Write out each week from now through the end of December and write out the below:
3 Most Important Things to Get Done This week
Content I’m Posting to Social This Week
Media/Influencer/Partnership Outreach & Follow Up
Keep your week by week action plan where you can reference it daily, whether in a bookmarked Google Doc, notebook or printed pages.
