Once you have had a chance to reflect and jot down some of your hopes and dreams for the new year, we recommend creating a vision board. This is one of our favorite things to do. Not only will it help with your planning, but a vision board will inspire you, bring clarity, and help you focus on your goals. To get started creating your 2025 vision board, follow these easy steps!

First, what is a vision board? It is normally a collage (physical or digital) of images, words, and affirmations that represent what you want to achieve or manifest in your life and/or business.

Step 1: Select your medium – Physical vs. Digital

Physical Vision Board

  • Create a physical board using a cork board, foam board or construction paper.  Gather some visuals taken from magazines, print images, quotes, and imagery that visually represent your goals and dreams. Then once you have everything gathered, create a collage using scissors, glue and/ or pins. Fill in with writing, quotes, and affirmations using markers or pins.

Digital Vision Board

  • We like using Pinterest for this! Create a secret Pinterest board and Pin inspirational images, quotes, colors, fonts, etc. Keep this Pinterest board bookmarked for easy access or set it as your homepage.

Pro Tip: If you have Canva, you can also create your digital vision board using the FREE online “white board” where you can pin and arrange images/text. You can also share it with team members!

Step 2: Choose a theme

To prevent your vision board from being too cluttered and unfocused, pick a theme. You can have more than one vision board Here are some themes to try:

  • Mission statement

  • Financial goals

  • Team growth

  • Launches

  • Customer relationships & testimonials

  • Branding

  • Social media presence

  • Campaigns

  • Press hits

  • Influencer collaborations

  • Leadership skills

  • Work/life balance

  • Values

  • Timeline of goals

  • Visionary words

Step 3: Use it!

A vision board does not work unless you use it! Keep it saved where you can view it daily that way your goals stay top of mind. It is also not set in stone; you can update it as your year progresses or if you see something inspiring.
